Star San – A high foam, final acid anionic rinse for use in the food and beverage industry.

Star San is an effective no-rinse sanitizer. Star San is safe once diluted and is stable for long periods of time after mixing – you can easily keep a bucket or bottle of pre-mixed Star San on hand for quick cleaning and sanitizing tasks. Fill a chemical-resistant spray bottle and have an easy way to sanitize surfaces and equipment during brewing or food prep. Great for regular cleaning of stainless surfaces such as counters, fermenters, etc.

Cleaning with Star San on a regular basis will leave equipment in an acid condition that will eliminate water spotting, mineral build-up, and corrosion. It is not recommended to use Star San on soft metals such as brass or copper because of the acid nature of this product.

The foaming nature of Star San helps ensure that all areas of equipment is properly sanitized. The foam will cling to corners and gaps ensuring sufficient contact time. Leftover Star San foam can safely remain on equipment before use – Star San breaks down in to fermentable sugars which will be consumed during your brewing process.
