By completing this booking, the renter agrees to the following:

1. Eligibility: The renter must be at least 19 years old, provide valid government-issued photo identification at pickup, and be authorized to use the payment card provided.
2. Rental period: The rental begins and ends on the dates and times shown in the booking. Equipment must be returned to the original pickup location by the stated return time. Early returns do not reduce the rental charge.
3. Payment and security hold: Rental charges are paid at the time of booking. A security hold in the amount shown at checkout will be placed on the renter’s payment card before the equipment is released. The hold will be released after the equipment is returned and inspected, subject to any authorized charges. Processing times for released holds are determined by the renter’s financial institution.
4. Late returns: Equipment returned late will be charged at the listed daily rental rate for each day or portion of a day overdue, up to the amount of the security hold. If equipment is not returned, replacement charges may also apply. Late rental charges do not reduce any amount owing for loss or damage.
5. Inspection and condition: Equipment will be inspected before it is released and again when returned. The renter should report any existing damage, missing parts, or operating problems immediately. Equipment that appears damaged, defective, or unsafe must not be used.
6. Responsibility for equipment: The renter is responsible for the equipment and all included accessories from the time they take possession until the equipment is returned and accepted by us. Equipment must be kept secure and returned in substantially the same condition, ordinary wear excepted.
7. Care and permitted use: Equipment must be used only for its intended purpose and according to any instructions provided. It must not be altered, repaired, sub-rented, or transferred to another renter without our permission. The renter remains responsible for the equipment if it is used by another person.
8. Damage, loss and cleaning: The renter is responsible for reasonable repair, replacement, missing-part, and excessive-cleaning costs resulting from misuse, negligence, loss, theft, or damage occurring during the rental period. Ordinary wear and documented pre-existing damage are excluded. The renter authorizes these amounts to be charged to the payment card provided. The security hold does not limit the renter’s responsibility for costs exceeding that amount.
9. Safe use: The renter is responsible for safely transporting, setting up, and operating the equipment and for complying with any instructions provided. CO2 cylinders must be properly secured, protected from excessive heat, and stored and used in a well-ventilated area. Safety devices must not be altered or removed.
10. Equipment availability: If reserved equipment becomes unavailable because of damage, mechanical failure, a previous late return, or another circumstance beyond our reasonable control, we may offer comparable replacement equipment or refund the affected rental charge.
11. Liability: To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for injury, property damage, or other loss resulting from misuse of the equipment, improper setup or transportation, failure to follow provided instructions, or unauthorized modification of the equipment.
12. Cancellation and refunds: Cancellations, missed pickups, changes, and refunds are governed by the cancellation policy displayed during checkout and forming part of this rental agreement.
13. Governing law: This agreement is governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
