Ball Lock Gas Disconnect with 1/4″ Male Flare
This Ball Lock Gas Disconnect connects your CO₂ line to the gas-in post on most Cornelius-style ball lock kegs. Its threaded 1/4″ male flare fitting gives you a removable, serviceable connection that makes it easier to replace tubing, clean components, or reconfigure your draft system without cutting the gas line.
Please note: this product includes the ball lock disconnect only. The 1/4″ female flare swivel nut and barbed tailpiece shown in some product photos are sold separately. You will need a compatible 1/4″ female flare fitting to connect this disconnect to your gas tubing.
Using flare fittings instead of permanently attaching tubing directly to a barbed disconnect gives your draft system more flexibility. Once the separately sold swivel nut and barb are installed on your gas line, you can unscrew the line from the disconnect whenever maintenance is needed. This is particularly useful when cleaning your draft equipment, replacing a worn disconnect, changing tubing, or moving components between different setups.
The disconnect locks securely onto the gas post of a compatible ball lock keg, allowing regulated CO₂ to enter the keg for carbonation and dispensing. An internal seal helps maintain pressure when the fitting is properly installed and connected.
This is a practical choice for home kegerators, keezers, portable draft systems, carbonation setups, and commercial environments where easily serviceable connections are preferred.
