Common Uses:

Directions for Use:
- Mix 1 mL of Star San per 1 litre of water (1:1000 dilution rate).
- Use cold or lukewarm water (avoid hot water to maintain foam stability).
- Apply by spraying, soaking, or circulating through equipment.
- Allow at least 1 minute of contact time before use.
- Drain excess solution, but do not rinse. Foam is safe and will not affect flavour or fermentation.

Star San can be mixed ahead of time and stored in a sealed container for reuse – for instance in one of our Chemical Resistant Spray Bottles. When the solution becomes cloudy, it’s time to mix a new batch.
