Our Stay-Back Citra Pale Ale is a twist on our Equinox Pale Ale, one of our favourites. We start with our classic Pale Ale recipe bringing the rich ale flavours of Simms Finest Maris Otter Pale Ale Malt blended with Rahr Canadian 2-Row Malt. A touch of Crystal malt gives us a richer colour and a golden ale taste.
We finish with the world-renowned Citra hop variety as a dry hop to give this beer a gentle citrus aroma over a traditional Pale Ale body. No, this isn’t a grapefruit beer. Subtle aroma, medium IBUs for gentle bitterness, stays firmly in the Pale Ale world. This is a great ale for first time customers.
