Powdered Brewery Wash, or PBW is an awesome safe, environmentally friendly cleaner. It’s safe for stainless steel and plastics, but not compatible with brass or other soft metals. Dissolves residue off of virtually all brewing equipment including glass or plastic bottles, stainless fermenters, pumps, hoses, piping, literally anything you can think of that you use to brew beer. This is what we use to clean our brewhouse, our lines and our own personal bottles.

PBW dissolves best in warm water, but will still clean well once it cools down. Serious buildup requires hot water or a lot of time, cold PBW will clean glass and plastic bottles wonderfully with a 10 minute soak. Safe on skin, gloves not required!
